Q. How do I Log in?
A. Click on the “Login” button at the top of each page. Fill in your e-mail address and password in the boxes at the top of the page. Click on the “LOGIN” button. Your name will now appear after 'Welcome Back..' at the top of the page. NB If the above doesn't happen, click on the 'contact us' link at the bottom of the page and complete the feedback form and we will try to help you.
Q. Why do I need to sign out?
A. Signing out prevents anyone from having access to your e-mail address. This could be a problem if you share your computer with anyone else. In most cases, simply closing your browser window will sign you out, but if it doesn't, clicking the 'sign out' button will ensure that your privacy remains intact.
Q. I have registered my account on sizzledish.com but have not received a verification e-mail?
A. You should check your e-mail account and if the e-mail is still not there check your spam and junk folders. Click on the link within the e-mail to activate your account. If email is not in either your spam or junk folders please contact us here and we will activate your account.
Q. I have received a message stating that an account already exists for the user name I entered?
A. You need to choose another name or make your name unique by adding numbers on to it. We have many users with similar names and food interests, so it is unavoidable that there will be overlap in user names. The user name has to be unique, but the password is your choice. Please use only letters and numbers, as we do not allow symbol characters in our user names and passwords.
Q. How do I edit my profile?
A. You will need to be logged in to edit your profile. Once logged in click 'My Profile'. Once you are on your profile page you can select the 'Edit Profile' button at the top of your profile. From this page you will be able to make all the changes you want.
Q. What if I lose or forget my password?
A. If you have lost your Password please go to the “Forgotten password” box on the “Login” page and submit the email address you registered with to the field below and your new password will be sent to you.
Q. How do I submit a comment or rating?
A. You can comment on recipes by logging in and going to the 'Add your comments' section at the bottom of each recipe or clicking on the rating to rate recipes (stars). If you're not already logged in, you'll be prompted to do so before you can enter your comments or rating.
Q. How do I search for recipes?
A. Sizzledish wants to make it as easy as possible for you to find what you are looking for so we have created a couple of ways to search for recipes. You can use the search field at the top of any page to perform any of the searches listed below:

Recipe search: To conduct a general search, enter a title of recipe or keyword in the search box on the top of the page.

Ingredient Search: Search for recipes that contain the ingredients you want by typing in up to three main ingredients in the search box.
Q. Why can't I find the recipe I'm looking for?
A. Check your spelling. Misspelt words won't find a match.
Use keywords which might be in the title or are a main ingredient in the recipe.
Your search might be too specific. Try using fewer words.
Q. How do I upload my own recipes?
A. Once logged in to your account you will need to click on the “Add a recipe” button above the list of ingredients. From here follow the instructions to upload all your text recipes. Before submitting a recipe, we encourage you to take the time to search the site to see if an identical title or recipe is already listed. This can save you the trouble of submitting a duplicate recipe. Please note that recipes on the site may not contain the same title. You can personalise your recipe by adding your name, e.g. Sophie's Tomato Soup. Or be more descriptive, e.g. Tomato Soup with Fresh Basil Pesto. Once you have created an account and logged in click “ Add a recipe”
Q. What are the tags in the recipes and why should I add them?
A. Tags are a way for other users and search engines to be able to find your recipes. The more relevant tags you add to a recipe the more people will be able to find your recipe.
Q. Flagging. How can I flag up inappropriate content?
A. You can help keep our site clean! Our flagging system allows Sizzledish users to identify postings for speedy removal while maintaining an environment for community sharing and expression. If any recipe, review, photo or profile receives enough flags, it will be removed automatically. Only one flag per person is counted.
Q. How do I report a problem?
A. Click on the 'contact us' link at the bottom of the screen.
Fill in the form and describe what the problem is in as much detail as possible.

If an error message appears, copy and paste it into the form.
